Neil D. Novak, P. Geo
President and Chief Executive Officer, Director
Neil has 32 relevant years experience in the mining industry, including more than a decade directly related to the diamond exploration industry. Neil graduated from University of Waterloo in 1977 and immediately became involved as a project geologist for the Canadian operations of Australian based uranium explorer Pancontinental Mining Ltd.
In 1983, Neil left Pancontinental and formed a private consulting company, Nominex Ltd. As managing director of Nominex, Neil became involved in various North American and International exploration assignments.
Formed in late 1992, Spider Resources Inc became a public company in early 1993, Neil wrote the original qualifying report for Spider. Neil became an active board member of Spider and Vice President in 1995 through to November 1999 when he became Corporate Secretary in January 2000. In June of 2003, Neil was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Spider and President and CEO in June 2005.
In early 2000, Neil along with two partners, created Billiken Management Services Inc, a Geological Consulting and Project Management company. Neil through Billiken and several associates provided geological expertise and exploration knowledge for several junior resource companies in Canada and worldwide. Through Billiken, a team of geological and engineering professionals were assembled and maintained over the past decade, who have become extremely knowledgable with Spider’s Projects and their return each exploration season maintains the continuous flow of information from one year to the next.
In June 2007 Neil and his partners, sold their interest in Billiken to certain employees of Billiken, all operating and consulting agreements with Spider were subsequently renegotiated.
Neil’s long career in the junior resource industry, has made him a desirable candidate for various public company boards. Neil over the past few years was invited to join the Board of Directors of Noront Resources Ltd., Simberi Mining Corporation, Cadillac Ventures Inc. and Renforth Resources Inc. During Neil’s involvement with Noront Resources Ltd, initially as a director, Neil was instrumental in designing the exploration program that lead to the discovery of Noront’s Eagle Deposit in the James Bay Lowlands of Northern Ontario. He was appointed Vice President of Noront and oversaw this company’s exploration activity between August 2007 and June 2008, when he assumed the role of VP Corporate and Aboriginal Affairs. In October 2008, Neil resigned from the Board of Directors of Noront and eventually resigned as VP in June 2009.
Presently, Neil only maintains a Board position with Cadillac Ventures Inc., a company with no exploration activity in the Province of Ontario.

Richard Hamelin, B.A.
CFO, VP Finance, Director
Richard has 16 years experience in the mining industry, through both his hands on production, research and engineering experience based in Timmins, Ontario.
In addition to his mining background Richard has significant expertise in the Financial Services and Investment Banking sector, over the course of 14 year career in the investment industry Richard rose to the position of Sr. V.P. and Director of Canaccord Capital, directly responsible for their development in the Province of Quebec.
Additionally Richard has experience in the field of merger, acquisition and sourcing development funds privately in the junior mining sector with Marleau Lameux.
Subsequent to leaving the brokerage industry Richard has become involved with a several Junior Resource companies in various capacities. In 2003 he relocated to Mexico to provide "hands-on" financial guidance to a junior mining company during their production start-up phase.
Richard has been a board member of Spider since 1999, at which point he represented a significant ownership position in Spider through his clients. Richard has continued his association and contribution to the Spider board, most recently undertaking the role of Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President Finance.
Rick is a Director, President and CEO of Gee Ten Ventures Inc.
Earl S. Coleman
Chairman, Director
Earl Coleman is involved in senior management of a freight forwarding business headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba. From 1985 to 1991, Earl held a series of positions with Big Freight Systems Inc.
In 1991 he was appointed to the position of Secretary Treasurer and in 1997 Earl was further appointed to Vice President of this company. He is currently the VP and Secretary Treasurer of Big Freight Systems Inc and Secretary Treasurer of Big Freight America Inc.
His recent appointment to the board of Spider, is Earl’s first involvement with a publicly traded mining company a result of a series of investments made by a consortium of Manitoba based investors into Spider from 1994 through to 1997. Earl’s investment and financial connection have provided significant supported Spider’s exploration efforts in the past.
Earl is a member of the Board of Directors of Manitoba Trucking Association, a member of the Canadian Trucking Alliance and a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. Earl is the Chairman of the Board and a member of the audit committee for Spider Resources Inc.
Carmen L. Diges, CFA, LLB
Corporate Secretary
Carmen Diges, is a practicing lawyer focused on international corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and natural resources. Carmen also enjoys working for clients in the industrial, technology and biotechnology sectors. She advises Canadian and international clients in connection with a wide range of public and private equity and debt offerings, as well as international project financing.
Carmen also has considerable experience in Africa and South America, where she has assisted clients in structuring and implementing acquisitions and projects and working with emerging market governments. Carmen has acted for public and private companies at all stages of development and has advised agents, underwriters as well as venture capitalists and merchant bankers.
Carmen is a graduate of Dalhousie University, LL.B., 1993; Osgoode Hall, LL.M., Tax, 1998, University of Toronto, B.A., International Relations/Philosophy, 1990
She was admitted to the Bar in 1995, in the province of Ontario.

Gregory Roberts, B.Sc.
Director
Mr. Gregory Roberts, with a B.Sc. degree, is currently President of AHS Inc., a private company delivering communication services to the Pharma industry. He has extensive corporate experience in the sales, marketing, corporate strategy, business development, and communication fields with a track record of success in both private and public businesses. Mr. Roberts has a strong interest in the resource sector, including extensive investment experience in mining projects, and presently serves on the board of directors of a number of emerging growth companies in the resource sector.
James Franklin, Ph.D.
Director
Dr. James Franklin is a consulting geologist with over 33 years of experience in the study of mineral deposits and regional metallogeny. He is a graduate of Carleton University (B.Sc. (64); M.Sc. (67)) and the University of Western Ontario (Ph.D., 1970).
Jim’s career in the mineral industry involved teaching at the university level, and directing research programs for the Geological Survey of Canada as it’s director and he was appointed Chief Geoscientist of the Geological Survey of Canada between 1993 and 1997, where he was responsible for coordinating the GSC's entire scientific program, including activities within multilateral national and international scientific programs and setting priorities for geoscience programs within Government of Canada.
He retired from the GSC in 1998. Currently he is a director or science advisor on the boards of six other exploration companies, and sits on numerous boards for professional and scientific groups.
In addition to his involvement with the mineral resource industry Dr. Franklin is also a Fellow or the Royal Society of Canada, representing Canada's geoscientists on the Partnership Group for Science and Engineering. He is a registered professional geologist in the Province of Ontario, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Queen's, Ottawa and Laurentian Universities.
He recently retired as co-editor of Exploration and Mining Geology for CIM, and was also Associate Editor of Economic Geology (a scientific journal) for seven years.
He is a Past President of both the Geological Association of Canada and the Society of Economic Geologists.
In addition to his Fellowship in the Royal Society of Canada, Jim was awarded Selwyn G. Blaylock Medal from the CIM in 2006, the Michel Halbouty Award from Geological Survey America in 2002, the A.O. Dufresne Award by CIM in 1995, the Duncan R. Derry award by GAC in 1992, the Thayer Lindsley Award by SEG in 1990 and the SEG's Distinguished Lecturer Award in 1988.
He has published over 125 papers and book chapters, and over 100 abstracts, two of which involved the McFaulds Lake massive sulphide project. Dr. Franklin will be assisting Spider management in geotechnical matters, with focus on the advancement of various exploration programs.
Bryan Wilson, B.Sc.
Director
Since obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 1975, Bryan Wilson has enjoyed a varied career in the fields of mining exploration and development (18 years) and financial services / investment banking (16 years) industries. He has filled various rolls such as a project geologist / manager, consultant, financial adviser, mining analyst and corporate finance specialist.
Recently, in late 2002, Bryan was hired in a consulting capacity to help guide Ste. Genevieve Resources Inc.'s restructuring process, Bryan was eventually hired by Ste. Genevieve to become its President in 2003.
Bryan's consulting endeavors also resulted in his appointment as President and then Chairman of VenCan Resources Inc. in early 2003 and a board member of MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd., Canyon Copper Corp in 2005, Hunter Bay “Minerals PLC in 2005 and Hard-rock Mineral Development in 2008.
In June of 2003, Bryan was nominated and appointed by the Board of Spider Resources Inc. to be its President and Chief Executive Officer for the period 2003 to 2006.
Within the mining industry he has acquired a broad international exposure to a variety of mineral commodities in differing geological settings throughout the world and the attending problems of sampling and evaluation these mineral deposits.
Bryan is currently the Director of Exploration Business Development of Centerra Gold, a Director of Spider Resources, Director of Gee Ten Ventures Inc as well as a Director, President and CEO of several private companies.
With a basic foundation in exploration, Bryan has tended to be involved with projects having a defined or potential mineral resource and some mine development such as open pits and lateral underground development.
His experience in the financial services industry combined with his mining background makes for a solid diversified back-ground in structuring and achieving financial solutions for companies involved in the mining extractive industry.

Norman E. Brewster, B.Sc., B.Ed.
Director
Norm has 33 years experience in the Mining Industry, mostly in International exploration, the last 10 of which are directly related to the diamond exploration industry.
Norm graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia in 1969 with a B.Sc. in geology followed by a 1971 B.Ed. degree.
During university years, Norm gained experience as a geologist with the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick governments as well as various international assignments for A.C.A. Howe International.
Upon graduation he became involved with A.C.A. Howe International in Canada, becoming a partner of this international mining consulting firm. Norm left Howe in 1983 and started his own consulting company Minroc Management Ltd., and has been self-employed since 1983 and has gained geological and management experience operating throughout North America, the Caribbean, South America, Africa, Europe and Russia.
Norm joined the Board of Spider in 1993 and served as its first president until February 1999. Norm was re-elected to the board of Spider in September 1999, and was reappointed as President in November 1999 and served in this capacity until June 2003. Norm voluntarily resigned as President of Spider but remains a director of the company and sits on the audit committee.
